Tour Plan

Day 1 : Arrive in Marrakech - Transfer to your accommodation.

On your arrival at Menara airport in Marrakech, a driver/guide from visitarmorruecos will greet you and arrange for your transfer to the Riad/Hotel located in the heart of the Marrakech Medina. Here, you will spend your first night, getting comfortable and rested after your flight.

Day 2 : Marrakech - Casablanca - Rabat.

On our 12-day Morocco tour, we will start by picking you up from Menara airport in Marrakech and transferring you to a Riad or Hotel in Marrakech Medina, where you will spend the first night. On the first day, we will embark on a journey to Rabat, passing through Casablanca. Our visit to Casablanca will include a tour of the iconic Hassan II Mosque, as well as a panoramic view of the city and its different neighborhoods. After a lunch break, we will proceed to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. There, we will go on a city tour, which will include a drive around the walls of the Royal Palace and visits to the Mausoleums of Mohammad V and Hassan II, two rulers who had close ties with the Jewish community. Our guided walk in Rabat will also take us through the Old Walled City and the stunning Kasbah des Oudayas. We will spend the night in a Riad or Hotel in Rabat.

Day 3 : Rabat - asilah - Tangier.

Today, we will embark on our journey to Asilah, a city renowned as a haven for artists. We will have ample opportunities to explore this charming location. During our drive to Tangier, we will make several stops to admire the Hercules' Cave and witness the convergence of the Atlantic and Mediterranean at the Spartel Cap. After this scenic drive, you will have a chance to relax and rest at your hotel in the city of Tangier.

Day 4 : Tangier - Rif Mountains - Tetaun - Chefchaouen.

After a comfortable night in Tangier, the journey continues to Chefchaouen. During the drive, you will make a stop in Tetuán, also known as the "White Pigeon," to admire the mix of Andalusian, early 20th-century Spanish, and post-independence architectural styles. Once you arrive in Chefchaouen, you will take a walk through the charming city, exploring the Outa-el-Hammam square, the picturesque cobblestone medina, and the Tarik Ben Ziad mosque, which is inspired by Seville's Golden Tower. You will spend the night in Chefchaouen.

Day 5 : Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes.

. After a delicious breakfast at the Riad, our 12-day Morocco journey from Marrakesh begins as we make our way to Volubilis, passing through Ouazan and other villages in the Rif region. In Volubilis, we will explore the Roman ruins and gain a deeper understanding of Morocco's history. Next, we will head to the city of Meknes, known for its 17th-century heritage. We will take a break for lunch, tour the medina's historic walls, including Bab el Mansour, and pay a visit to the lush Moulay Ismail Gardens. In the afternoon, we will continue our journey to the city of Fes, where you will spend the night.

Day 6 : Visit Fes with local guide.

During the full-day trip to Fes, you will delve into the rich cultural heritage of Morocco. The city, also known as Fes el Bali, was established in the 9th century and is home to the oldest university in the world. It reached its peak in the 13th-14th centuries under the Merinids when it was the capital of the kingdom and a hub of economic and cultural activity. Despite later losing its political capital status to Rabat in 1919, Fes has maintained its significance as the country's artisan center. Artisanal workshops, including blacksmithing, leatherworking, ceramics, silk, tapestries, and sculpting, are still thriving in the medina and contribute to the city's industrial economy. With its original ramparts, approximately 9000 narrow alleyways, and bustling streets, Fes is a living museum of Morocco's rich cultural and historical heritage.

Day 7 : Fes - Atlas Mountains - Ifrane - Azrou - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Sahara desert (Camel Adventure & overnight in desert camp)

Today, we will travel from Fes to the Sahara desert passing through the middle Atlas Mountains. The first stop on our journey to the Merzouga desert will be in “Ifrane” city, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco”. There you will enjoy Ifrane’s stunning views & Forest. Afterward, We will have a stop in “Azrou” to see the monkeys in the cedar forest (Barbary Macaque). We will have time to take pictures with monkeys on the road.
Later, we will head toward the Sahara desert, we will pass through “Tizi n’Talghamt pass” to reach “Errachidia” city while admiring the views of Ziz gorges. Furthermore, We will have free time to take pictures & Memorable moments in the panoramic views of “Ziz valley”.

Our 12 Days touring Morocco continues to Merzouga Erg Chebbi across Tafilalte Oasis “Aoufous” & “Erfoud” (Know for its fossils Museums and dates). We will have a visit to a local fossils craft
workshop.
12 daBefore Sunset for two Hours or 3, we will arrive in the Merzouga Sahara desert. Where you will enjoy a lifetime Experience. Start with riding camels into Erg Chebbi dunes to reach our authentic Berber desert Camp Merzouga. The camel rides Adventure takes approximately 1:30H with a break on top of the dune to enjoy the thrilling views of the sunset, try the sandboarding (Optional), enjoy the views, take memorable pictures. Following this, you’ll continue to the camp where you’ll be welcomed with a glass of min tea and relax until dinner time. After dinner, you will relish traditional Berber drumming music, enjoy the starry sky, Shooting stars, campfires, Exchange cultures, & Histories with nomads. Then sleep in a private nomadic desert tent.

Day 8 : Merzuga desert - Rissani - Tinjdad - Todra Valley & Gorges - Dades Valley - Ouarzazate.

After an early breakfast, you will have the opportunity to witness a breathtaking sunrise over Merzouga erg Chebbi. Once you have finished your meal and taken a shower at the desert camp, you will be taken back to Merzouga Village, either via camel trekking or 4WD (as per your preference). After this, you will continue on to Ouarzazate, passing through Rissani and making a stop in Erfoud, which is famous for its fossilized marbles. You will visit a workshop to see the production of marble fossils. Your next destination is the Todra Gorges, which is an excellent place for a walk and personal exploration. After having lunch, you will drive through the towns of Roses and Kelaa Mgouna and continue along the Road of a Thousand-Kasbahs, passing through the Skoura palm grove until you reach Ouarzazate, also known as the "Hollywood of Morocco." You will then check into a hotel or riad in the city.

Day 9 : Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas - Imlil.

On our next day of the 12-day itinerary in Morocco, we will begin our journey in Ouarzazate. Our first stop will be the Kasbah of Taourirt, followed by a visit to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning Exotic Moroccan architecture and its history as a backdrop for several Hollywood movies like "Lawrence of Arabia," "Gladiator," "Kingdom of Heaven," and "Prince of Persia".
From there, we will continue through the High Atlas Mountains, taking the scenic Tichka Pass, and arrive at the Imlil Berber village. This journey will provide us with a breathtaking view of the magnificent Atlas Mountains, and we will spend the night in a guest house located in the heart of the Atlas Mountains.

Day 10 : Imlil - Asni - Marrakech.

On day nine of our twelve-day Morocco tour, we will be exploring the Atlas Mountains, starting with the small village of Imlil. Imlil is a popular starting point for treks and hikes, including the ascent of Mount Toubkal. From Imlil, you will ride mules for approximately 40 minutes to reach the Berber village of Aroumd, where lunch will be served in a traditional Berber house. After lunch, you will have the opportunity to take a short walk. On our way back to Marrakech, we will visit the Moulay Brahim Gorges and the Berber village of Asni, known for its weekly market held every Saturday. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Marrakech and spend the night at a Riad.

Day 11 : Marrakech Guided tour.

Today is dedicated to exploring Marrakech, the beautiful Red City. We'll spend the entire day getting to know this ancient imperial metropolis in Morocco. The name "Marrakech" comes from the Berber language and means "Share of God". The city was once a small village of farmers before being built by Youssef Ben Tachafine, a Berber king of the Almoravid dynasty. We'll visit his grave to learn more about his biography. We'll also see the Koutoubia Mosque, known for its magnificent minaret and decorations, the Saadian Tombs, the magnificent Menara gardens, the Museum of Dar Si Said, showcasing various arts and traditions, the Bahia Palace, and the lively Jemaa El-Fna Plaza, where we can experience the culture and tradition of Marrakech. We'll spend the night in a Riad in Marrakech medina.

Day 12 : Free Day in Marrakech.

On the final day of our 12-day Morocco tour, you will start with a delicious breakfast. You will then have some free time to explore Marrakech at your leisure. Afterward, we will arrange for your transfer to the airport, depending on your flight schedule. This concludes our 12-day itinerary in Morocco.
