2-Day Tour from Marrakech to the Zagora Desert

At around 8:00 AM, the driver/guide from Sahara Desert Excursions will pick you up from your Riad or Hotel in Marrakech. Your exotic 2-day Marrakech desert journey will then begin towards the high Atlas Mountains (at an altitude of 2260 meters). There will be many stops along the way to visit ancient Berber villages and capture picturesque views. You will also tour the Telouet Kasbah and visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After exploring the old kasbah, your two-day tour will continue through the Draa Valley. After watching the sunset for an hour, you will embark on a camel ride through the small dunes of Zagora towards the camp where you will spend the night in a private desert tent under the stars. Enjoy dinner surrounded by the Saharan dunes, accompanied by Berber drum music. If you're interested, you can also try sandboarding.

On the following morning, you'll wake up early to witness the beautiful sight of the sunrise over the small dunes of the Zagora desert. This will be followed by a traditional breakfast at the Sahara desert camp. Then, you'll take a camel ride to meet your driver who will return you to Marrakech. During the trip, you'll have free time in Ouarzazate to have lunch at a local restaurant and visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah. In the afternoon, your driver will drive you back to Marrakech through the Atlas Mountains, bringing an end to your 2-day Marrakech to Zagora desert tour.
