Fes to Marrakech 5 Days desert tour

Around 8:00 AM, Sahara desert excursions driver/Guide will pick you up from your Riad/Hotel in Fez. Then, our 5 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakesh departs to the Sahara Desert via Ifrane known as the “Moroccan Switzerland”. Later, to the Cedar forest where we will stop to enjoy watching the monkeys climb the cedars. Then continue via the Middle Atlas mountains and the Ziz valley one of the largest palm groves & oases in southern Morocco. Our 5 days Fes desert tour goes on to Erfoud city, famous for its fossils Museums & Factories. Arrive in Merzouga, you will have free time to meet locals in the villages. Also, you can take an outdoor Merzouga activity, like ATV quad adventure, to enjoy the charming sunset on the top of Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Overnight stay in a Riad near Merzouga sand dunes.

Today, you will embark on a 4x4 adventure in the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert. This trip will give you the opportunity to get a glimpse into the nomads' way of life and even share a cup of tea with them. During the day, we will also visit Khamlia village and have a chance to enjoy the traditional Gnawa music. For lunch, we will indulge in a delicious Berber pizza. In the afternoon, we will ride camels to the desert camp where we will spend the night. As the sun sets over the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, we will be mesmerized by the beauty of the desert. Our overnight stay in a Berber desert camp will allow us to experience the magic of the Sahara, including the rhythm of Berber drums, the awe-inspiring Milky Way, and the stunning shooting stars.

On the third day of our 5-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech, we will arise early to witness the stunning sunrise over the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Afterwards, we will return to the Merzouga village via camel ride. Then, we will embark on a 4WD journey towards the Dades gorges. Our first stop will be at the Rissani market, followed by a visit to the palm groves of Tourog and Tinjdad. We will then make our way to the Todra Gorge, where we will have some free time to explore the area. Finally, we will continue our road trip to the Dades valley, where we will spend the night and enjoy dinner and breakfast.

On the fourth day of our five-day tour from Fes to Marrakech, we will start our day with a delicious breakfast surrounded by the stunning views of the Dades valley. Then, we will proceed to Marrakech, passing through the Rose Valley and the Skoura Oasis palm groves.

Our next destination will be in Ouarzazate, where we will take a brief visit to the Taourirt Kasbah. After traveling for 27 km, we will arrive at the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a World Heritage Site designated by UNESCO. This historic site has been used as the backdrop for many Hollywood films, such as "Lawrence of Arabia," "Gladiator," "Kingdom of Heaven," "Prince of Persia," and more. The kasbahs, or fortresses, showcase the exotic architecture and culture of Morocco.

After exploring the kasbah, we will continue our journey through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tichka pass, which will lead us to Marrakech.

On the final day of our 5-day Fes to Marrakech tour, we will visit the vibrant and bustling city of Marrakech. Our experienced and knowledgeable tour guide will take you on a full-day sightseeing tour, where you will be able to delve into the rich culture, history, and art of the city.
Marrakech is known for its iconic central square, Djemaa el Fna, and the towering Koutoubia Mosque, which serves as a landmark for the city. During our tour, we will visit other notable attractions such as the Ben Youssef Medersa, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Majorelle Gardens, and the Jardin Secret, all of which showcase the beauty and allure of Marrakech.
At the end of the tour, we will transfer you to either the airport or your riad, marking the conclusion of our 5-day Fes to Marrakech desert tour.
