4 Days Trip From Fes to Marrakech via Sahara desert

On the 4 Days Fes to Marrakech Sahara tour, our experienced driver/guide will pick you up at around 8:00 AM from your hotel or Riad in Fez. The journey to the Sahara Desert begins, with a visit to Ifrane, also known as the "Moroccan Switzerland". Next, we will stop at the Cedar Forest where you can observe the monkeys climbing the cedar trees. The tour continues through the Middle Atlas Mountains and the Ziz Valley, which is one of the largest palm groves and oases in southern Morocco.
We will then head to the city of Erfoud, famous for its fossil museums and factories. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will have some free time to interact with the local people and explore the villages. You may also choose to take an exciting outdoor activity such as an ATV quad adventure, to enjoy a breathtaking sunset on the top of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes.
The first night of our 4 Days Fes to Marrakech Sahara tour will be spent in a comfortable Riad near the Merzouga sand dunes, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the stunning desert landscape.

After a delicious breakfast at the riad, the second day of our 4-day Fes to Marrakech desert tour begins. We will explore the best of the Sahara desert and visit nomad families, where you will have the opportunity to drink tea and visit the oasis where several movies such as "Sahara" featuring Penelope Cruz were filmed. After a scrumptious lunch in Khamlia village, we embark on a thrilling camel ride into the Merzouga Sahara desert. We will be able to witness a stunning sunset and try our hand at sandboarding on the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. We spend the night in a private nomadic tent, as the Berbers do, in the Sahara desert camp. You will be treated to a traditional Berber dinner, music, and a clear night sky filled with shooting stars, which you can admire as you explore the Sahara at night. We will spend the night in the Berber Merzouga desert camp.

On the third day of your 4-day tour from Fes to Marrakech, you will start your day by witnessing the magnificent sunrise from the sand dunes of Merzouga. After which, you will return to Merzouga village either by camel trek or 4WD jeep safari, depending on your preference.
Next, you will visit the Dades Valley via Rissani where you will take a short break to explore its traditional market, considered the largest in southern Morocco. From there, you will continue to Todra Valley and Gorge, passing through several villages including Jorf and Tinjdad.
Upon arrival in Todra Gorge, you will find yourself surrounded by towering cliffs, a popular destination for rock climbers. You will take a short walk inside the high canyons, experiencing the stunning views. In the afternoon, you will journey to Boumalne Dade where you will spend the third night of your 4-day trip in Morocco, overnighting in a Riad with panoramic views of the Dades Valley.

On the final day of our 4-day Fes to Marrakech tour, we will start the day with a delicious breakfast with breathtaking views of the Dades valley. We will then proceed to Marrakech, passing through the Roses valley and the Skoura Oasis palm groves. Our next stop will be in Ouarzazate, where we will have a brief visit to the Taourirt Kasbah. After a 27 km drive, we will reach the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has been used as a backdrop for many Hollywood movies such as "Lawrence of Arabia," "Gladiator," "Kingdom of Heaven," "Prince of Persia," and many others. The Kasbahs showcase the exotic Moroccan architecture and culture.
After exploring the kasbah, we will continue through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tichka Pass, which will take us to Marrakech, where our 4-day Sahara desert tour will come to an end.
