Tour Plan

Day 1: Welcome to Tangier

You will be met at the port or airport in Tangier and taken on a scenic drive through the Rif mountains and the city of Tetouan to the stunning village of Chefchaouen. This charming village is located at the feet of the Rif mountains and boasts a Spanish-style square surrounded by many arts and crafts stores, roof-top restaurants and cafes. You will spend the night in a comfortable accommodation to enjoy the beauty of nature and the peaceful breeze.

Day 2: Discovering Volubilis and Meknes

Following breakfast, your authentic journey will start with a drive through the Rif villages, including Wazan, to reach Volubilis. At this Roman ruin site, you will learn about Morocco's archaeological history and marvel at the stunning architecture. After visiting Volubilis, you will travel to the 17th-century heritage city of Meknes, where you will stop for lunch and tour the historical walls of the medina, including Bab El Mansour and the shrine of Moulay Ismail. Afterwards, you will continue your journey to the city of Fes where you will spend the night.

Day 3: Exploring the Oldest City of Morocco

After breakfast, you will begin exploring the oldest city in Morocco, Fes. You will walk through its alleys and narrow streets, visiting cultural and historical sites such as the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter, and the Al Qaraouine University. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Attarine Museum, Mulay Idriss mausoleum, and the Tanneries. After lunch, you will visit a tile cooperative and enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fes.

Day 4: The Journey to Merzouga

Following breakfast, you will depart for the desert city of Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. The route will take you through the Tiz Ntalghamt pass, the Ziz Gorge, and the High Atlas plateau, giving you breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. After lunch and a taste of Berber hospitality in Errachidia, you will continue along the luxuriant Ziz Valley to Erfoud and Rissani before arriving at Merzouga in the afternoon. Here, you will be treated to a glass of mint tea before embarking on a camel ride to spend the night at a desert camp, complete with Berber music and sandboarding.

Day 5: Sunrise in the Sahara

You will be up early to see the sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara before making your way back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. Afterward, you will travel through the Saghro mountains and take a short walk through Todra Gorge before reaching the Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay at a charming riad or hotel.

Day 6: Through the Dades Valley to Ouarzazat

After breakfast, you will travel through the Dades Valley to Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazat. The route through the valley is dotted with numerous opportunities to take photographs of the beautiful landscapes, including the rose valley and the cinema city of Ouarzazate. You will also visit the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before continuing on through the High Atlas mountains and attractive Berber villages to reach Marrakech.

Day 7: Exploring Marrakech

After breakfast, you will begin exploring the vibrant "Red City" of Morocco, Marrakech. You will tour the most important cultural and historical sites, including the Majorel
