When traveling to Morocco during Ramadan, it’s important to keep in mind that certain accommodations and restaurants may have limited availability for meals. It is advised to check if your accommodation in the Imperial Cities offers full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) as not all of them do. In popular cities such as Fez or Marrakech, there are many restaurants open for tourists during Ramadan, but it may be more challenging to find places to eat in other cities during the day. However, there are plenty of options for dinner after sunset when fasting ends. If you choose to travel during Ramadan, a desert tour is recommended, as hotels and activities typically operate as usual.

The best time to visit Morocco is Autumn (September-November) or early spring (March-April). The weather is warm, but you will avoid the extreme temperatures of the scorching heat and cold nights. Whatever time of year you choose to visit, there’s something special about Morocco.

If you’re considering a trip to Morocco with children, it’s important to know that family and children are highly valued in Moroccan culture. It’s common for Moroccan families to have multiple children and spend a lot of time on the street, so you can rest assured that your children will be welcome. However, it’s important to keep in mind that some baby products may not be readily available in certain areas of Morocco. To avoid this, it’s recommended to bring any specific brand products with you before traveling. If you need to purchase something upon arrival, you can find what you need in larger cities such as Casablanca, Marrakech, or Ouarzazate at supermarkets like Marjane, Acima, or Carrefour. When planning a tour with children, it’s important to keep in mind that transportation schedules may be challenging for them. To make the trip more enjoyable for the children, it’s best to choose a tour with shorter distances and a variety of activities to keep them engaged.
