On this Tangier Sahara to Marrakech tour, you will embark on a journey through northern Morocco and experience some of the country's most breathtaking landscapes. You will travel in comfort, either in a 4x4 or a minibus, and encounter diverse environments, from cities to deserts, valleys, kasbahs, ports, gorges, and Bereber villages. Your tour guide will be with you every step of the way to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Upon arrival at the airport or harbor, you will be greeted by your private driver/guide who will escort you to your hotel for the first night. You can relax and settle into your charming riad or hotel for the night.
The adventure starts with a traditional breakfast at 9am on the second day. Your local guide will meet you at the hotel and take you on a tour of the city, highlighting its most important monuments and showing you why Tangier is known as the "Bride of the North." After a full day of exploring, you will return to your hotel to prepare for the next stage of your journey.
Start your day with breakfast at the riad and then set off for Chefchaouen at 9am. Your driver will take you to this popular destination in northern Morocco, famous for its blue-painted houses and traditional rhythm. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and enjoy lunch at 12:30pm. In the afternoon, you can start exploring the city and its colorful markets, experiencing its peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty.
You will start the day with an early departure for the first imperial capital of the kingdom, Meknes. You will visit the Roman ruins at Volubilis and have lunch in the medina of Meknes. You will then have some time to explore the city's magical attractions before being taken on a tour of the ramparts and ancient gates in the evening.
After breakfast, you will join your private guide on a tour of the oldest city in Morocco. You will visit the tomb of the city's founder, explore the local markets, and admire the unique Andalusian architecture in the old city and its monuments. You will spend the night in a charming riad.
Your journey to the south of Morocco, through the Atlas Mountains, begins at 8am. During the day, you will enjoy the panoramic view of the greenery and cedar trees and catch a romantic sunset upon arrival in Merzouga. After check-in, you will take a camel ride to spend the night in the heart of the Sahara, sleeping in a local Berber tent and enjoying a traditional dinner under the stars.
After your desert night, you will set out early in the morning for the 1000 Kasbah, Ouarzazate. You will pass through Toudra Gorges, taking in the scenic views of the oasis and the valley between two 600-foot mountains. You are expected to arrive in Ouarzazate by 6pm, where you will spend the night.
After breakfast, you will visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, which You will then continue your journey from the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech. On your arrival, you will be taken to your hotel where you can rest and relax for the night.
On your 9th day, you will be taken on a full-day tour of Marrakech, starting with a traditional breakfast at 9 am. Your local guide will meet you at the front desk and take you on a journey to discover the city's famous monuments, including the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace. You will also have the chance to explore the bustling markets of the city, including the famous Djemaa El Fna square, where you can sample traditional Moroccan cuisine, browse local goods, and watch street performers.
