The second day, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Casablanca and taken to visit the stunning Hassan II Mosque. After that, you'll head to Rabat where you'll spend the night. In Rabat, you can visit the Mechouar of the Royal Palace, the ruins of Chellah, the Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Hassan Tower.
The third day, you'll depart from Rabat and make your way to Chefchaouen. Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to explore the beautiful medina of this unique city with its white-washed walls and blue doors and windows. The city was once occupied by Spain, and you'll see the influence of Spanish civilization and architecture all around. You'll have the chance to meet locals and take a walk in the beautiful medina.
On the fourth day, after breakfast, you'll head to Chefchaouen, via the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the holy town of Moulay Idriss. You'll then visit Meknes and take a tour of the medina, including El Hdim square, Bab El Mansour, the massive gate that is the entrance to the old city, the Jewish quarter, the Royal Granaries, and the city rampart. You'll spend the night in your hotel.
The fifth day will start with a guided tour of Fes, where you'll discover the famous medina and souks of this ancient city with its narrow cobbled streets filled with mosques and minarets. You'll visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments, including the tannery and ceramics cooperative to see traditional Moroccan crafts. After the tour, you'll hit the road to Midelt through the Middle Atlas region, stopping in Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou to hand-feed monkeys. You'll spend the night in your hotel.
On the sixth day, you'll depart from Midelt after breakfast and head to Merzouga, following the Ziz River through the valley and stopping to see the Ziz Gorges on the way. Upon arrival at your hotel, you'll embark on a camel caravan to watch the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in a wild oasis after a 2-hour walk in the desert. You'll enjoy delicious mint tea, listen to traditional Berber music, and watch the stars and the rising moon in the amazing Sahara desert. Dinner and the night will be spent in a tent.
The seventh day starts with breakfast in the riad, and you'll hit the road to the desert through the two oases of Merzouga and visit a nomadic family, the village of Khamlia, mines Mifiss, and meet the nomadic Berbers in the desert and Tissardmine oasis. You'll arrive back at the hotel in time to relax and watch the magic sunset over the dunes. Dinner and the night will be spent in your hotel.
On the eighth day, you'll explore the desert region and its isolated oases. You'll travel east along the Erg Chebbi and stop at Rissani, the first Alawi city and a major center of commerce. You'll visit the town's palm grove and its ancient Kasbahs, its enormous souk, and the Ziz valley, a fossil quarry. You'll then continue to the Todra Gorges for lunch before visiting Boulmane Dades and Klaa Mgouna, known for its great rose valley and the production of rose water. Finally,
After breakfast, you will depart from Ouarzazate and stop at the Kasbah Taourirt. Then, you will visit the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site, where several movies have been filmed, including Lawrence of Arabia, Tea in The Sahara and Gladiator.
Next, you will continue on to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Taznakhte, known for its kelim carpets. Afterwards, you will make a stop in Taleouin, the city of saffron, for lunch at a local restaurant. Finally, you will make your way down to Taroudant, where you will spend the night.
